Ondoy Relief Philippines

Just want to share some links for those who want to help Ondoy victims:

http://www.ondoyrelief.org/
http://www.google.com/landing/typhoon-ondoy.html

More helpful links (got this from my officemate):

1) If you need to report missing persons, search and donate evacuation centers, this is an online directory of victims, evacuation centers, etc:

http://ateneotaskforceondoy.misa.org.ph/people

2) If you have friends and family in the states or other parts of the world who want to donate, but don't know how to, they can use Paypal, GCash and SmartMoney. Please visit:

http://www.txtpower.org/

3) For those who braved the floods and walked in the mud:

http://www.leptospirosis.org/

4) For those flood-damaged cars:

And for those who can't go to relief centers, you can use your mobile phone to help:

From Chuvaness.com: It's great that people are giving. I do think there is another way. Charity begins at home. We decided to give our staff money at home and at Pepper Lunch because everyone is affected. This is a direct way of helping. My driver can help his family in Marikina. I also found out the bodyguard's family had no food and water today. He was so grateful to buy a sack of rice for them. So before we reach out to others, find out if there is anybody in the household that needs help.
